- GOC in critical condition
Barely three days after a Federal Minister died in a road crash, a top brass of the Nigerian Army has died in another road accident along Maiduguri-Damaturu road.
It was gathered that the Major General Y.M Abubakar who is the Chief of Training and Operations of the Nigerian Army died in the crash.
The General Officer Commanding 3 Armoured Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Muhammed Aliyu who was also involved in the crash alongside two soldiers, were said to be in critical condition.
