The Nigerian Navy has announced the promotion of 24 senior officers from the rank of Commodore (one-star generals) to Rear Admiral (two-star generals) in a major career advancement exercise within the force.
In addition, 26 Navy Captains, equivalent to Colonels in the Nigerian Army, have been elevated to the rank of Commodore, marking another significant milestone in their careers.
