The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustee (BoT) should not be blamed for the crisis rocking the party.

Its chairman,  Senator Walid Jibrin, stated this during a live television interview monitored, yesterday.

He said the BoT cannot be ruffling feathers with party members but rather would allow the various committes set up to reconcile warring parties to come up with its recommendations.

He disclosed that the BoT was being careful because were trading of blames from different quarters.

He said while some quarters were blaming Atiku Abubakar for the crisis, others were blaming Governor Nyesom Wike. Which one do we believe? So that is why it is better to allow the various committes submit their reports so that the BoT will be properly guided.”

On call for the sack of the national chairman, Iyorcha Ayu, Jibrin said he was ready to sacrifice his position to bring about the geographical position being craved for in the party.

He said to sack Ayu had not been brought up officially through any of the organs of the party which included the BoT, NEC or the NWC.

He said once this is done, a swift decision would be taken on the matter.
