The results of yesterday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Benue State released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed that Governor Samuel Ortom won in his Nzorov council Ward, Guma local Government Area as well as the Government House polling Unit.
At his Nzorov ward, Ortom polled a total of 632 votes as against his main challenger in the APC who 0 vote.
Also, at the Benue Government House, PDP recorded 127 votes, while the APC polled 112 votes.
However, former Senate President, David Mark and former minister of interior, Comrade Abba Moro lost at their respective polling units to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
