Benue: Court restrains APC NWC from removing, replacing, suspending Agada-led SWC

The Benue State High Court sitting in Makurdi yesterday granted an interim Injunction restraining the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from removing, replacing, or suspending members of the Benue State Working Committee led by Comrade Austin Agada or tempering with the four-year tenure of the members pending the determination of the Motion on Notice.

After hearing the State Legal Adviser of the Party  Alyebo Matthew, Justice Theresa Igoche granted the interim injunction and adjourned the case to August 28,2024 for hearing of the Motion on Notice.

Reacting to the development, Comrade Agada extolled the judiciary as the hope of the common man and expressed his confidence in the judicial system.

He urged all party members to remain steadfast as the party prepares for its primary elections this Saturday.
