Benin Republic storms Abidjan, awaits Super Eagles

The Cheetahs of Benin have intensified their readiness for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers slated to start next week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team under former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr unveiled a 25-man killer squad that will prosecute their two games.

The team on Friday arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast where they have adopted for their home games.

The Beninoise Football Federation adopted Felix Houghet Stadium in Abidjan after their national stadium failed to secure CAF approval to host international games.

They will play the group leader Amavubi of Rwanda in Match Day 3 before hosting the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Match Day 4.
