The Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande, has tasked Nigerian youths to believe in themselves, saying Nigeria could be transformed if the youths in the country believes in themselves.
Mr. Ayodele stated this in a visiting tour to Delta State National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state, alongside the Commissioner for Youth, Commissioner for Environment, Commissioner for Transportation, and Commissioner for Special Duties in Delta State.
The Minister noted that the future of the country lies in the hands of the youths, adding that corps members should always be in their best and that success does not determine where one is born.
While commending Gov Sheriff Oborevwori for transforming the NYSC camp to its best, noted that the challenges by the NYSC state coordinator would be addressed.
“We can achieve and transform Nigeria if we believe in ourselves. Our future is in our hands. Believe in Nigeria, learn a skill, at least one or two.
“Where you are born does not determine your success; just believe in yourselves, no matter how difficult it maybe.
“I commend the state governor for transforming the NYSC camp to its best. Your challenges will be addressed by the state governor,” he said.
Earlier, the state coordinator, Mr. Alao Olusegun Olaosebikan, disclosed that the corp members have gone through the rudiment of the camp rules, and they are well-behaved with the collective efforts of camp managements.
He, however, said water supply has been a major challenge faced in the NYSC Orientation Camp.
