Beiersdorf, makers of Nivea beauty cream, has launched a new anti-spots product into the Nigerian market.
The company’s Country Manager, Oladele Adeyole said the product, known as ‘Luminous 630 Anti-Dark Marks’, can remove dark spots from any skin in four weeks, even if it has been there for more than 10 years.
He said the need to protect the skin from the sun, remove spots and acne and leave it radiant, had motivated the company into the research that gave birth to the new product.
He also said the product has been launched in other African countries where it was tested on millions of ladies and it scaled the test meeting superior performance. He said in Nigeria, it has been tested and approved by NAFDAC.
National Sales Manager for the company, Desmond Quaye, further narrated how the product was made by female scientists who tested 630 molecules until they found the most effective combination for Luminous 630 Anti-Dark Marks.
He explained that the product can penetrate into one’s skin leaving it radiant and the cream helps to regulate melanin producing enzymes in the body allowing the natural skin to pop up.
He said the product comes in two types, the serum and day cream SPF50 triple protection. He said it was necessary to use the two together in order to get maximum results.
Quaye said the aim was for the product to maintain and nourish the skin, but not to change it.
