Former BBNaija housemate, Tacha has called on authorities to prosecute an alleged false rape accuser identified as Mirabel to serve as deterrent to others.
The reality TV star made the call in an X post on Thursday evening.
In a series of videos, Mirabel had taken to TikTok on Sunday to allege that she was sexually assaulted by a stranger who broke into her apartment.
She further claimed that her purported attacker sent threatening messages after the incident, noting that she had become suicidal due to her ordeal.
However, Mirabel admitted during a phone conversation with social media influencer, VeryDarkMan that she fabricated the story.
VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, shared online an audio recording of the conversation in which the supposed rape victim recanted major parts of her earlier story.

Confronted with messages supposedly sent by her attacker, she apologised and admitted that she created the TikTok account used to send the threat messages.
She confessed to doing so to make her story believable.
Mirabel, who is said to be receiving attention in a medical facility in Ogun State, further stated that she had been under the influence of illicit drugs and was not “thinking clearly” when she posted the videos.
Meanwhile, a source within the Ogun State Police Command said she would be prosecuted once discharged from hospital.
In her X post, Tacha said false rape accusers make it harder for real sexual assault victims to obtain justice.
She said, “Now that its been established that Mirabel lied about the r*pe allegation, I expect the police and the agencies in charge of handling r*pe and assault cases to make sure they penalise Mirabel and that she receives the same punishment a r*pist would get… CAUSE we live in a very wicked and terrible society where r*pists and r*pe apologists are looking for excuses to continue to r*pe and abuse women..
“We should NEVER allow stupid women to empower these evil and wicked men! She must be penalised.”
