Baker Homes has intensified its investment drive in Ogun State’s property market with the unveiling of a 10-acre residential development in Mowe, amid rising property values and growing demand for land along the corridor.
The company, which recently introduced Mint Court Phase 2 along the Papalanto Expressway in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, is offering 300 square metres of land at N8 million under a promotional sales campaign.
The offer, which runs until October 14, 2026, will increase to a minimum of N10 million after the promotional period.
The development comes as the company consolidates its presence in the real estate market following the reported sell-out of several projects in its portfolio, including Mint Court Phase 1.
Launched in 2022 at an initial price of about N5 million, Mint Court Phase 1 was sold out in 2025, with prices reportedly rising to between N25 million and N30 million during the period.
The new phase was unveiled on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at an event attended by real estate professionals, prospective buyers and industry stakeholders, including Nollywood actor, Jide Awobona, and Surveyor Abayomi Sobowale.
Speaking at the launch, Supervising Manager and Head of Projects and Development, Baker Industries Limited, Dr. Hon. Olusegun Osundina, said the new project was informed by the response to the first phase and the company’s strategy of creating property opportunities around location, documentation and value.
“Mint Court Phase 2 represents another important step in our commitment to creating real estate opportunities that combine location, proper documentation and value,” he said.
According to him, the performance of the first phase demonstrated demand for properties within the corridor, prompting the company to open another opportunity for prospective buyers.
“The success of Phase 1 demonstrated the demand for well-positioned property in this corridor, and with Phase 2, we are giving more people the opportunity to participate from an earlier stage,” Osundina said.
The company said Mint Court Phase 2 is situated on 10 acres of land and comes with a Global Certificate of Occupancy. It described the site as 100 per cent dry land.
It also disclosed that allocation would be given immediately after completion of payment, while the advertised prices are all-inclusive.
Beyond its Mowe operations, Baker Homes said its property portfolio includes Fork Hill in Kuje, Abuja, and Genesis Blocks land development at Maralago Lake City along the Gwarinpa-Kubwa Expressway, both of which have recorded sell-outs.
The company added that sales of the building development at Genesis Blocks were nearing completion, with only one five-bedroom duplex remaining.
Osundina said the company’s growth strategy was not limited to property sales but also focused on building trust and improving buyers’ experience.
“We remain focused on building trust through transparency, proper documentation and a customer experience that extends beyond the point of purchase,” he said.
The launch of Mint Court Phase 2 also marked the beginning of Baker Homes’ brand partnership with Awobona, who said the collaboration would enable him to create greater awareness about property ownership and available investment opportunities.
He said the partnership would also help prospective buyers understand the importance of transparency and proper documentation when acquiring property.
“Mint Court Phase 2 gives people an opportunity to consider property ownership from an earlier stage of development. What I find important about this partnership is the emphasis Baker Homes places on transparency, proper documentation and helping people understand what they are buying,” Awobona said.
He added that he would use his platform to encourage more Nigerians to take informed steps towards property ownership.
With the introduction of the new phase, Baker Homes is seeking to extend its footprint in the Mowe property market, leveraging the sales performance of its earlier developments to attract another wave of prospective land buyers.
