The 15th Afrikanwatch Network annual lecture, titled, Election Integrity and Security: Imperative For Peaceful Transitions, will hold on. August 15, in Lagos, as the Speaker is Dr. Kabir Adamu, CEO, Beacon Security & Intelligence Limited, Abuja, while Prof. Andrew Obafemi of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, a former National President, Nigeria Cartography Association, (NCA) will chair the event.

Meanwhile, the Media outfit will be celebrating one of its life Patrons, Distinguished Sen. Anthony Adefuye ,who will be turning 82 years on August 14; a special keynote address will be delivered in his honour by Professor Tayo Popoola, Head of Department, Mass Communications, University of Lagos. The event is scheduled to hold on August 15, 2026 at Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos, and only invited guests can attend.
