At Ghanian IGP pull-out ceremony, Eze Ndigbo, HRM Ihenetu lauds police Commission, government on transparency

The Eze Ndigbo Ghana and the Assistant Publicity Secretary Association of Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, HRM Chukwudi Ihenetu has commended the Ghanian government for it’s transparency in all is segment of governance even as he encourage other African nations to imbibe this fine attributes.

HRM Ihenetu made the statement at the weekend during the pull-out and  farewell ceremony of immediate past Ghanian Inspector General of Police, Mr.James Oppong Boanuh.

Mr Boanuh handed over to George Akuffo Dampare following confirmation of his appointment by President Nana Akufo-Ado.

While commending Ghanian Police Comisssion for a successful transition free of rancour and tussle, HRM Ihenetu said that is what is expected of a true  growing democracy.

“The palace of Ndigbo in Ghana counted it as privilege to be part of the colourful ocassion which saw the outgoing IGP, Mr Boanuh handing over to his successor, Mr Dampare. I on behalf of Igbo people and palace elders in Ghana felicitates with  him and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”

Speaking on Ghana Nigeria relations, HRM Ihenetu  who has won many awards as peace ambassador said  palace of Ndigbo in conjunction with Nigeria High Commission had been able to promote peaceful coexistence among Nigerians living in Ghana and their host nation.

“I thus appealed  to Nigeians living in Ghana to  continue to be law abiding in all their pursuits.”
