APPN appoints Eletu national adviser as FG harps on construction standards

The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziak Kunle Salako, has underscored the need for industry-association partnership as an essential recipe for national development.

The minister made the remark in Lagos at the weekend during the inauguration of the national executive members of the Association of Professional Plumbers of Nigeria (APPN), where the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Limited, Prince Ambassador Kazeem Austin Eletu, was appointed as the association’s national adviser.

Dr. Salako, who pointed out that infrastructure and public health are inseparable, said the federal government is ever ready to partner with companies that prioritise standards in their operations.

The minister lauded Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Ltd., saying, “Companies like Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Ltd. that prioritise excellence are valuable partners in our efforts to improve infrastructure and public health.”

Prince Eletu seized the occasion to make a passionate advocacy for the use of strong and genuine pipes in the construction industry, sending a clear message that substandard materials have no place in the future Nigeria is building.

Represented by the Chief Operating Officer, Basorun Ibraheem Babayeju, Prince Eletu graciously accepted the honour, noting that “this appointment reinforces our dedication to the development of Nigeria’s plumbing sector.” We see it as an opportunity to deepen collaboration between manufacturers, professionals, and policymakers to ensure quality and sustainability in our infrastructure.”

While celebrating APPN and recognising how far the plumbing profession has come, CEO, Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Limited noted that “plumbers, once overlooked and undervalued, have evolved into essential pillars of Nigeria’s construction landscape. That transformation doesn’t happen by accident; it happens when organisations like APPN commit to eliminating quackery, enforcing certification standards, and raising the bar, and when companies like Kazeem Royal Properties show up to back them with the right materials and the right values.

“This partnership between Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Ltd. and APPN will ensure that both quality materials and skilled professionals work together to strengthen our nation’s infrastructure,” he declared.

Speakers at the gathering, including industry stakeholders, government officials, and construction professionals, lauded the appointment of the CEO of Kazeem Royal Properties and Constructions Limited as APPN national adviser and described the company as “a champion of quality, durability, and professionalism in Nigeria’s construction materials space and producer of over 40 categories of plumbing products trusted nationwide across real estate, construction, manufacturing, and technology sectors.”
