All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the governorship seat of Borno State. The party retained the seat polling 1, 175,440 votes.
The INEC Returning Officer for the Borno governorship, Prof Alhassan, Mohammed Gani, announced APC governorship candidate, Prof Babagana, Umara Zulum as the winner of the poll.
Zulum scored 1,175,440 votes while PDP’s Mohammed Imam polled 66,115 votes.
