APC wins Ajimobi’s polling unit in Ibadan

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State won the presidential and National Assembly elections in the polling unit where Governor Abiola Ajimobi voted.

  Ajimobi voted at 1:17p.m at Unit 20, Ward 11, Oluyole Community Grammar School, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the state.

  For the presidential election, APC polled a total of 151 votes at the polling unit to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that scored 79 votes. African Democratic Congress (ADC) came third in the polling unit with four votes.

  The APC also won the Oyo South senatorial election in the polling unit by scoring 112 votes. ADC came second with 66 votes while PDP came third with 61 votes.   Governor Ajimobi is the Senatorial candidate of the APC in Oyo South.    The result of the House of Representatives election for Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency showed that APC scored 177 votes, PDP 66 votes and ADC scored 36 votes.
