APC Reps candidate offers scholarship to indigent student

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency in Ebonyi State in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly election, Chinedu Ogah, yesterday offered scholarship to an indigent youth, Alidor Jonah, to study any course of his choice in the University.

Alidor, a secondary school leaver from Ameka community, Ezza South council area of the state wrote the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams in 2014 but could not proceed with his university education because of paucity of funds.

Luck, however, smiled on him when the APC Reps candidate offered to sponsor him to study any course of his choice in the University with additional monthly stipend of N30,000.

Ogah made the offer while addressing the crowd of his supporters drawn from all the wards in the constituency at the premises of Ohataekwe Primary School, Ohataekwe in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state. He staged the rally to thank them for their support during the election.
