The Amalgamated APC Support Groups Think Tank has drummed support for a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Paul Chukwuma, ahead of Anambra State Governorship election.
Convener of the group, Dr AK Peter, and Secretary, Ustaz Bashir Yahaya, in a statement yesterday, said the Chukwuma would take Anambra to a new height of elected.
They said the misinformation making the rounds that Chukwuma was arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences (ICPC) was sponsored by expired politicians who see him as a major threat to their political future.
Peter said: ” Anambra State needs to be rescued from the clutches of bad governance and misrule of APGA and Sir Paul Chukwuma is right man for the job.”
He further described Chukwuma as a “grassroot man, a loyal party man, a motivator of the youths, a philanthropist, mobilizer, and a good Christian who has the fear of God and built the structure of the APC in Anambra State.”
He claimed that those who have suddenly realized that they have failed the people in the past had resorted to campaign of calumny and spreading fake news to smear the good name and character of the APC hopeful for the Anambra State governorship election.
He called on all party members to work for him as he is the only person that has all it takes to defeat All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and enthrone APC in the state.
