…Receives Sen. Ubah, Send Ekwunife, others to the party

The Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to wrestle power from Governor Chukwuma Soludo come 2025 governorship election.
The party members at the enlarged stakeholders meeting of the party at Awka officially received into the party, the senator representing Anambra South Chief Ifeanyi Ubah and former senator who represented Anambra Central and Director General of South East Governors’ Forum Chief Mrs Uche Ekwunife with their supporters.
Others who were received were former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. Mike Ugwa, former member of Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. John Nwokeji.
The State Chairman of the Party Chief Basil Ejidike while addressing the stakeholders said that the flag of the party will fly in the Government House, Awka come 2025 which he said will make him to be fulfilled.
“We can achieved this great feat if we want, because the manpower and resources are readily available. Year 2025 affords us yet another opportunity to contest and win Anambra State Government House. Let us as one family work towards achieving this goal for our party” he said.
Ejidike while welcoming the new members said that their sojourn in the land of the progressives will bear greater fruits for their benefits and that of the party.
“I enjoin you the new members not to fail to sustain their dogged and positive humanitarian spirits, which is their Hallmark. We urge you to double this inherent spirit in your service to the party. The APC will definitely provide you the platform to do more in this regard. I pledge our unalloyed support and cooperation in all our dealings with all of you. Please, rest assured that the party is large enough to accommodate everyone’s political aspirations” he stated.
The Chairman charged the members to be united and shun anti party activities, saying that members should come together to build a formidable APC structure in the state.
“We have the potentials, resources and enablement to reposition the party in the state. It is my earnest desire that our stakeholders and leaders make conscious efforts towards narrowing their political differences and mistrust, and key into this repositioning process”.
The new members were admitted into the party by the leader of the party Chief Andy UBA and we’re given the symbol of the party which is brooms.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in his speech thanked APC for accepting him and said that he has joined the centre to be part of good governance of the federal government.
He promised to join hands in building the state party and making it stronger than it was before he joined.
Ubah further said that he joined APC to librate state and zone which has been held down with on party for 20 years.
Also in her speech, Sen Ekwunife said that she will provide strong support to the party.
