The South East zonal coordinator, Atiku Support Organization (ASO), Hon. Alozie Alozie has congratulated Senator Uche Ekwunife on her appointment as the Chairperson of the Valentine Ozigbo (VCO) Campaign Council in the Anambra gubernatorial elections holding November.
Alozie who also doubles as the Director General of campaign stream, thanked the PDP and its Anambra governorship candidate, Mr Valentine Ozigbo for the strategic and gender friendly appointment which according to the chief streamer, shows that with PDP and Valentine, Anambra will regain its lost glory.
“The PDP is the only party that promotes gender friendly policies , the choice of a female seasoned administrator as deputy governor and the appointment of the distinguished female Senator as the head of the campaign council have shown this.
Alozie who made this remarks during an interactive session with some South East Zonal leaders of ASO in Umuahia, the Abia State capital pledged to use the already well galvanised structures of Atiku Abubakar, the frontline PDP presidential candidate 2023 in the South East to work assiduously for the victory of Mr Valentine Ozigbo and our great party PDP in the coming election in Anambra State.
“Anambra is very dear to us and the need for Anambra to take its rightful position in the scheme of affairs in the South East and Nigeria cannot be over emphasized.
” I am of the view that the victory of PDP in Anambra State gubernatorial election will not only provide succor for the people of Anambra State, rather it will also restore hope and faith in the minds of majority of Nigerians who are looking forward to PDP coming back to power in 2023″.
On the crisis rocking the party at the national level and also on the recent BOT meeting held in regards to the crisis, the chief streamer and political strategist also thanked the PDP BOT and other leaders of the party for their timely intervention in redeeming the party in other to ward off those with sinister plans of destroying the party.
