Youths of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) are set to take to the streets on Monday in a demonstration against the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan.
Speaking via X, ADC national youth leader, Balarabe Rufai, disclosed that the protests would take place in Lagos, Ogun, and Jigawa states.
The demonstration will be staged at INEC offices in the aforementioned states.
Rufai also attached flyers for the Lagos and Ogun protests, with the tags ‘Operation Occupy INEC’, adding that the Lagos protest will commence at 8 am at Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech).
Additionally, the Ogun protest is scheduled for 11 am at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) office in Abeokuta.
At the time of this report, it was yet to be ascertained whether or not the protests had begun.
