The Deputy Director-General of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye, has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) against intimidating members of his party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Melaye said the ADC would defend itself if subjected to intimidation, warning that the party would not accept a repeat of what he described as violence and electoral harassment witnessed during the Osun State election.

Speaking during an interview on ARISE News, the former Kogi West senator said the ADC was prepared to resist any attempt to intimidate its members during the 2027 elections.

He said the party would not rely on the courts to address such incidents, insisting that it would defend itself.

“In the Osun election, over 50 people died. We are announcing to Tinubu and the APC that this time around, we will defend ourselves,” Melaye said.

He further declared that the ADC would not take the matter to court if confronted with similar circumstances.

“We will not go to court; we will settle the matter on the streets,” he added.

Melaye also used the phrase “all die na die” to emphasise the party’s readiness to resist what he described as intimidation by the ruling APC.

His comments come amid political preparations and growing tensions among opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
