Alia seeks partnership with S’Korea on smart schools, investments, others

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has sought partnership with the government of South Korea in areas of Smart Schools, Renewable energy, Capacity building and investments.

He urged the Korean Government to invest in the state particularly in processing facilities where post harvest wastes could be taken catered for.

Governor Alia made this request when he visited the South Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Vice Admiral (rtd) Kim Pankyu, at the embassy. The Governor who recalled previous relations with South Korea in areas of economic development, commended her investments in Lobi Bank and sought for renewed bilateral collaborations in education, investments, culture and tourism. A statement signed by the Technical Adviser to the Benue state Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, Solomon Iorpev, said the South Korean Ambassador, Kim Pankyu, who was visibly excited at the visit, said he was the first to be received in that capacity in the embassy.

Pankyu promised to do everything within his power to ensure that a robust relationship brewed between the country and Benue state especially in areas of direct investments.
