Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and serving commissioner in the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Hon Nuel Ola Elehinle, has described the late former governor of the state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) as an astute administrator who did his best for the progress and development of Ondo State.
Elehinle said Akeredolu was a man of fruitful purposes and an astute administrator who loved the people wholeheartedly and upheld the tenets of good governance even in the face of great challenges.
Narrating his personal encounter, Elehinle said the late Governor contributed meritoriously to the development of the state. “He was a blunt man. He will say things the way they are and the way he feels about them. There was no dull moment with Aketi. He was a happy man who always radiated happiness to people around him through jokes, humorous gestures and songs,” he said, adding that the legacy of Akeredolu would continue to live on.
