Barely two weeks after receiving Fellowship and honorary Doctorate awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana (CIPRMP), the brain behind Conquerors Group International, Dr. Kingsley Efe Akadidi, has been decorated with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity from the West Africa Youth Council (WAYC) as West Africa Youth Ambassador.
He was recognised for his empowerment programmes and contributions to the economic development of West Africa. Leader of CIPRMP delegates, Dr. Richards Ikpada Kpoku, extolled the leadership and entrepreneurial prowess of Akadidi, which led to his nomination for the awards.
President, WAYC, Seun Williams, described Akadidi as “an exceptional entrepreneur with a difference, a realtor of note, a mentor to the young people, a promoter of the gospel who has raised kingdom leaders and a miracle to humanity.
“His passion for youth development and track records in the areas of business development and expansion is worthy of emulation.”
In response, Akadidi restated his belief that “true leadership is not about having a shelf full of awards but having people around full of verifiable visible impacts.”
He recalled how N500,000 given to him by a friend to purchase a plot of land some years back helped him kick-start his real estate business: “I pledge to be at the fore front of youth empowerment, leadership innovation and upholding the right business ethics.”
