Nigerian heavyweight boxer, Efe Ajagba is over the moon after he successfully defended his WBC Silver Heavyweight title by defeating Australian Joe Goodall in the 4th round via TKO on Saturday night, a 10-round main event at the Tahoe Blue Event Centre in Nevada, improving his record to 19-1 (14 KOs).

The 29-year-old, who lost to Goodall in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, went into the fight seeking his pound of flesh, which he did in just four rounds to keep his title, announcing himself as a top contender in the heavyweight division.

The referee stopped the fight after four rounds in the 10-round bout after he saw that Goodall had taken too many punches from the Nigerian and could no longer put up any defence.

Ajagba has now won his last four fights since losing to Frank Sanchez via unanimous decision in October 2021 on the undercard of Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder III.

Since the victory, Ajagba has issued a slew of statements on his social media accounts, especially Instagram.
