Super Eagles duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi will now work under former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, with Nottingham Forest confirming the appointment of the Australian as its new head coach, Bold Sports reports.
This follows the sacking of Nuno Espírito Santo, who spent two years at the club and guided Forest to European football for the first time in 30 years. Postecoglou is expected to bring a fresh approach and attacking philosophy to the team as they continue their evolution in the Premier League.
The 60-year-old has agreed to a deal that runs until June 2027 and will take charge of training immediately ahead of his first game in the dugout — an away clash against Arsenal on Saturday.
