Agbara Ogbon will compensate for my hiatus – Temitayo Adeniyi
Popular actress and filmmaker Temitayo Adeniyi, known for her talent, versatility, and style, is set to unveil her latest movie, Agbara Ogbon, after taking a hiatus from acting.
“My new movie, Agbara Ogbon, is an exceptional piece! Having been off-screen as an actress and producer for a while, this film is my way of compensating for my long absence. Agbara Ogbon is a story told not only to entertain audiences but also to raise awareness about some pressing social concerns,” said Temitayo Adeniyi.
The award-winning actress shared insights on the inspiration behind the story: “The inspiration comes from a place of empathy, a campaign for awareness, and a call for help regarding the current situation in today’s Nigeria.”
Reflecting on her acting journey, Adeniyi recalled, “My journey into acting began as an undergraduate during a university strike. An acting troupe rehearsed near my house, and their activities fascinated me. I inquired about joining them and learned it was like a diploma course in acting, which would take three years to complete. I enrolled, and ever since then, I’ve been an actress.”
Agbara Ogbon boasts a stellar cast, including industry heavyweights such as Odunlade Adekola, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Akin Lewis, Ralph Adeniyi, Damilola Oni, Taiwo Ibikunle, Ireti Osayemi, Kemi Korede, and many other talented actors.
