A joint team of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs)  in Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), led by the Area Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Debo Folorunsho, and other officers, on Tuesday, burnt the dumpsites where the fracas occurred.

The operational team took the action, in order to forestall or prevent future occurrence of the fracas which happened two weeks ago between the hoodlums, youths and scavengers, where goods and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed and burnt.

The ACP and all the DPOs, under his divisions, supervise the burning exercise that was  carried out by other junior  officers. The Oke-Odo DPO, CSP Lekan Ogundare, and station officers, Ernest Faith Ekeoba, were among the officers who witnessed the operation.

When Daily Sun visited the dumpsites, flames had taken over the whole area between the Katangowa Oke-Odo market, while the Scavengers and wheelbarrow pushers were moving out their belongings from the scene.
