The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District, Kunle Adegoke, SAN, has reflected on his longstanding relationship with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, describing the bond between them as one forged through years of loyalty, trust and shared experiences.
Adegoke made the remarks after presenting his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form to Oyetola, an occasion he commemorated with a photograph alongside the former governor.
According to the APC candidate, Oyetola occupies a unique place in his political and professional journey, noting that, beyond politics, he has had the privilege of serving as the minister’s personal and family attorney.
“The Honourable Minister is far more than a political leader to me. I have had the honour of serving as his personal and family attorney, and our relationship was forged in difficult times. It has endured many challenges and grown stronger through every phase,” Adegoke said.

He added that their shared roots in the Osun Central Senatorial District further strengthen his resolve to seek representation for the district in the Senate.
Expressing optimism about the task ahead, Adegoke said it remains his sincere aspiration to represent Oyetola and the people of Osun Central at the National Assembly.
“I sincerely hope and aspire to represent him and the good people of our district in the Senate. I look forward to carrying forward the ideals of service, loyalty, and principled leadership that have defined our journey together,” he stated.
Adegoke’s comments came as political activities gathered momentum ahead of the forthcoming elections, with candidates intensifying consultations and engagements following the submission of their nomination forms to INEC.
