Kogi State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kingsley Temitope Ogga, has congratulated Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for his triumph in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Kingsley,in his congratulatory message described the governorship poll as a fair and honest exercise that allowed the full expression of the sovereign will of Kogites.
The ADC Chairman remarked, “In choosing Usman Ododo, the people have indicated their desire for the consolidation of the remarkable achievements of the present administration.”
“While the election was free and fair, it unmistakably mirrors the people’s will to select a candidate who will build upon the gains and outstanding accomplishments of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration,” he added.
Speaking further, Kingsley Temitope Ogga expressed that Ododo’s victory signifies an appreciation of good governance and the quality leadership of Governor Bello.
Describing Ododo’s victory as well-deserved, Kingsley told journalists that “the outcome of this election shows that Gov. Yahaya Bello has done very well.”
