Adamu Garba, a former presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has rejected claims circulating on social media that he has left the party.

According to social media user @tenibegiloju202 had claimed Garba deserted the party and pulled its flag from his office owing to Tinubu’s leadership.

He wrote: “@tenibegiloju202: “BREAKING one of the ardent supporters of APC, Adamu Garba just dumped the party. He removed APC flag from his office and bid them farewell.

“According to him, the party under Tinubu has derailed and no longer doing what the people want. More to follow.”

Reacting, Garba described the reports as false and misleading.

Posting on X, Garba urged the public to disregard the reports and appealed for privacy, stating, that “Please allow me to write my books and do my business in peace.”

He wrote: “These bot-trons want to drag me back on this street with their mercantile fake news. I’m still very much a full member of the APC.”
