Nigerian film actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared her struggles with fibroid tumours and how they persisted after surgery.
Uploading a video on her Instagram account, the Nollywood star revealed that despite undergoing invasive surgery in 2020, the tumours kept resurfacing.
She disclosed that she opted for yet another surgery instead of taking a holistic approach to manage the symptoms of her ailment.
“My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am.
“My journey with fibroids isn’t over. recently learned they’ve returned. I’ll let you listen to the details in the video,” she penned.
Speaking further, Ini Dima-Okojie expressed her desire to sponsor 20 women who are dealing with fibroids.
“I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them,” the Blood Sisters actress stated.
