Nollywood Actor and comedian Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, also known as Ijoba Lande, has spoken out about his unsatisfactory experience working with actress and producer Funke Akindele.
The comedian revealed that he spent a month working on an Akindele-produced film at Amen Estate but was only paid N90,000. He claimed he was surprised by the tiny payout since he expected more.
Speaking in a video message shared via his social media, Lande said, “There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month there. I was shocked when she gave me N90,000 after spending one month.”

He advised aspiring actors not to idolize top industry figures, stressing the importance of negotiating fees before accepting roles.
“I have learned my lesson. I will always state my charges before going to any location. When she called me, I was too excited to discuss payment, only to end up with N90k after one month,” the actor added.
