Abuja International Carnival gets another boost as Kuku becomes event’s goodwill ambassador

As preparation for one of the most talked-about carnivals in Africa, Abuja International Carnival becomes intense, more prominent Nigerians have joined those endorsing the event.

The latest among those throwing their weights behind the event is Olatubosun Shamsuldeen Adeniyi Kuku.

Announcing Mr Kuku as the event’s ambassador, Chief Executive Officer, CEO/ED, Kehinde Adegbite, also known as Mallam Yankee said Mr Kuku’s endorsement and his emergence as the event’s ambassador was a welcome development.

According to him, emergence of great personalities as ambassadors for the big event was already a huge sign that the it would be successful.

He recalled that Chief Olatubosun Shamsuldeen Adeniyi Kuku hails from Ijebu Ode, Ogun State from the family of late Olatunji Fatai Kuku and Seymou Abike Kuku.

Mallam Yankee further revealed that he is an alumni of Ijebu Muslim College in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Revealing further, he said Olatubosun Kuku holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Jos and a Masters degree in Socio-Psychology from the Birmingham City University.

According to him, as an astute political entrepreneur, political lobbyist, business executive, consultant, contractor and an estate broker with a versatile and multi-faceted experience in human relations, his contribution to the success of an international carnival of the Abuja standard cannot be underestimated.

Chief Kuku is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Winning Keys Consult and Oakmi Nigeria Ltd.

Beyond his core professional engagements, Olatubosun Kuku is God fearing and a humanitarian whose endeavours have culminated to receiving several awards amongst which are: the NYSC FCT Award for invaluable contributions towards development of Corp Members in the Federal Capital Territory, Award of Excellence in recognition of Outstanding Contributions and Commitments to Humanity and the Church of God by St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Abuja.

Abuja carnival holds between November 21st and 23rd, 2024, and will feature prominently varieties of activities including street shows, musical concerts, boat regattas, Durbar, children’s fiestas, exhibitions and masquerade display.

The carnival last held in 2016 and is expected to attract both local and international participants while showcasing Nigerian’s rich culture.
