The Annual Beginning of the year Thanksgiving Service of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abia State Council, for 2024, takes place on Monday.
A release jointly signed by the State Council, Comrade Victor Ndukwe and the Secretary, Comrade Adaeze Ralph Igbokwe puts the venue at NUJ Press Centre, No. 66 Aba Road, opposite Golden Guinea Brewery, Umuahia while time is 11am.
The Director of Social Communication of the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia, Rev. Fr. Leonard Ehiemere, according to the release, will be the Guest Preacher, while the member representing Umunneochi State Constituency in Abia House of Assembly, Hon Mathias Ume will be the Special Guest.
The release enjoined all veterans and practicing Journalists in the state to attend the session as to commit the activities of the union in the new year to God.
