Abducted Edo APC Rep candidate’s campaign DG freed after paying N20 million ransom

Monday Aighobahi, the Director-General of Mr. Dennis Idahosa Campaign Organisation, has been set free by his abductors after allegedly paying N20 million as ramsom.

The Ovia APC House of Representatives candidate Campaign DG was set free at the weekend,

Recall that Aighobahi was kidnapped along the Benin-Ore road on. Tuesday last week shortly after campaigning at Ofusu in Ugbogui ward of Edo State with the candidate, Mr. Dennis Idahosa, who alleged that the abduction was politically motivated.

‎Meanwhile, kidnappers of Michael Ohio-Ezomo, APC House of Assembly candidate for Owan West constituency in the state, are yet release him one month after has was abducted.

Family members were said to have opened discussion with the kidnappers who demanded N100 million before they could release him.

A police orderly attached to the APC House of Assembly candidate was killed during the kidnap incident.
