Faith gives us a different way of understanding and perceiving things. To the people of the world, our faith life may appear foolish when we begin to perceive things differently from what the facts of physical realities may say. However, God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.
Science says the world came out of evolution but we understand by faith that the world was framed into existence by God’s word. To understand means to grasp the meaning of a thing or situation. To understand also means to accept as true whatever is placed before you. Faith does not accept the theory of the scientists about the world as true, rather faith accepts the word of God as the true meaning of the situation, irrespective of what the fact of science says. Sense of reasoning or science deals with the facts of physical realities whereas faith deals with the truth.
Jesus said in John 17: 17, ” sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth”.
In every situation of life there is the fact of physical or scientific realities and then there is the truth, based on what God’s word says. Faith sticks to God’s word regardless of what the facts or science says.
The fact of how you feel may be that you feel sick; science would generally agree with your feelings; but the truth says by his stripes you were healed. Faith agrees with 1 Peter 2:24 and makes 1 Peter 2:24 its confession regardless of what scientific report says.
Find out three relevant scriptures concerning those areas of your life where you may be facing challenges and make God’s word your confession today.

The fact of that what you see in your wallet today may be communicating lack, the truth says wealth and riches are in your house. According to Psalm 112: 3, wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
To give the right meaning to your situation, you have to do it by faith. Don’t conclude that you are broke because your wallet or bank account says so. The word says, wealth and riches are in your house. Faith receives and declares that wealth and riches are in his house. Faith does this even when what it sees physically, is different.
1Samuel 25:6 says “mAnd thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.”
Although this scripture was addressed to Nabal, the book of 1 Peter 1: 12 shows us that old testament prophecies were actually written for the benefit of new testament saints. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Peter tells us here that when David made that statement to Nabal he was actually ministering unto us. Every good prophecy of scripture belongs to the church. Alleluia!
We are the ones described as living in prosperity. By faith we understand and grasp this fact that we live in prosperity. Peace is upon us, upon our house and upon all that we have.
Regardless of the state of your finances, start declaring that you are he/she who lives in prosperity as you add these confession to your financial seeds, heaven will respond on your behalf and you will have what you say!
