Winners of the Habo Instagram competition have been unveiled in Lagos.
They include Duru Ifeoma Olivia, a final year student of Psychology, Imo State University, Owerri, who is the overall winner; Nafisat Abdulganiyu, a budding entrepreneur from Ilorin, Kwara State, who is the first runner-up and Chikata Kelechukwu, a Theatre Arts student of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the second runner-up.
The online competition was designed to encourage Nigerians to showcase their creativity and upload a minute video via Habo Instagram page.
Habo, however, used the opportunity to unveil their mobile app, dedicated to ease purchase of the product from anywhere in the country.
Habo’s spokesman, Ifeanyi Ifeabunike, stated: “Habo sanitary pads are one of the best in the market, produced in line with the global best practice. The competition was designed to encourage people to be creative, thereby making Nigerians understand the need to use information technology to access our products via the Habo mobile app and to reward our customers.”
The winner got N1 million, while the first and second runners-up smiled home with N250,000 and N100,000 respectively. There were other consolation prizes.
