The company further advised members of the public not to allow themselves to be misled into putting their hard earned money into the property, which remains a subject of litigation in cases cited above.
According to him, “The disputes over the land bordered on the title and ownership of the parcels of land in question.
“One of such companies involved in marketing the land is Ogbu Jideofor of Premium Homes which company might have been a victim of the fraudulent activities of Oretol Nig in respect of the subject parcel of land.
“Capital Garden in her action claims against Oretol Nig Limited, the title and rightful ownership over the subject parcels of land, by virtue of sale transaction, concluded the subsequent execution of a Deed of Sublease specifically in respect of all that parcel of land measuring approximately four Hectares at Hampton Estate, Osapa, Lagos.
“The said parcel of land is covered by Lagos State Government Certificate of Occupancy No. 86/86/2018A dated July 9, 2018 and huge consideration has been fully paid for almost half a decade.”
The company stated that after it discovered treacherous disposition on the part of Oretol as projected by its prime mover, Oladapo with respect to the subject parcel of land, its sister company, Capital Garden commenced an action against Oretol and Oladapo in Suit No: LD/9195GCM/2025.
It stated further that the court had already granted some injunction restraining Oretol, its agents, assigns, privies or any person acting under her authority or at her behest from dealing with, encroaching upon or interfering with the land in any manner whatsoever.
It stated that the said Court order still subsists and must strictly be complied with.
The court order was earlier published to notify the general public.
“We, therefore, reiterate that by the above-mentioned cases pending before the High Court of Lagos State, issues regarding title and ownership of the subject parcels of land herein mentioned are subjudice and any dealing with the subject property without recourse to Dreams Court and/or its affiliate companies are, therefore, deemed illegal, unlawful, void and constitute act of trespass,” the statement added.
