Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) has enhanced its examination system, to be launched in April 2025. This upgrade includes a revised syllabus and the adoption of Computer-Based Examinations (CBE) for all candidates.

 

Enhancing its Taxation Education means that, the updated syllabus has been designed to align with global best practices in taxation, while the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) system brings CITN’s assessment methods in line with international standards.

 

CITN in a statement signed by Registrar/Chief Executive, Afolake Oso, affirmed that the strategic move aims to equip candidates with enhanced technical and analytical skills, enabling them to effectively meet the demands of the taxation industry.

 

CITN stressed that enhancing efficiency and integrity is strategic, even as the new CBE system offers several key advantages which include: Increased Efficiency, which ensure prompt result processing; improved Accessibility, which provides candidates with increased accessibility and flexibility.

Others benefits are: Modernized Assessment which offer modernized assessment methods for a more reliable and secure experience; enhanced integrity, which aims to maintain examination integrity and uphold the highest standards.
