Everton has joined the race to sign Taiwo Awoniyi, who has fallen down the pecking at Nottingham Forest.
Another Premier League club, West Ham has also been linked with the Super Eagles striker.
Awoniyi, 27, has scored only once in 20 appearances for high-flying Forest this season. Everton has a pot of 33.5 million Pounds to buy reinforcements in this winter transfer window, which closes on February 3. Tuttosport has reported Everton want to use part of this cash to make a late swoop for Awoniyi, who has proved himself in the Premier League but has battled injuries in recent times.
