Faleye’s extensive background includes notable roles in the Lagos State Civil Service, where he served as Assistant Director and later Principal Private Secretary to Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN during his time as Governor of Lagos State. In these capacities, Faleye was instrumental to the successful execution of numerous high-impact projects, which not only improved public infrastructure across the state but also significantly enhanced public services delivery in Lagos State. As a private sector player, Faleye demonstrated his considerable expertise in corporate and commercial law practice in his capacity as the Managing Partner of Fides & Fiducia, a commercial law firm.

He led his team to deliver complex commercial transactions cutting across project finance, private equity finance, oil and gas, power, dispute resolutions, mergers and acquisitions. With such pedigree of total commitment to effective governance and impactful leadership, it was with great aplomb that many received Faleye’s recent appointment by President Bola Tinubu as the new Managing Director of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
