• Stanbic IBTC launches enhanced Super App for business owners, others

Stanbic IBTC Bank, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, has launched an enhanced version of its Mobile App, designed and optimised specifically for businesses and its numerous customers across the globe to streamline and simplify digital banking and enhance banking experiences.

Speaking at the launch just recently in its corporate headquarters- Lagos, the Chief Executive of the bank, Mr Wole Adeniyi, described the App (which is downloadable in Google Play Store, IOS and other Mobile stores) as a muti-functional and a one-stop-shop, designed to deliver power (value) to the Bank’s customers.

Mr Adeniyi assured that the enhanced Mobile App provides a comprehensive suite of tools to manage finances efficiently, noting that with an intuitive interface, users can execute transactions seamlessly, transfer funds between accounts, check real-time balances, and manage beneficiaries. “This App offers instant access to transaction statements, self-service options, and robust security features to safeguard business operations.

“This App is tailored to deliver ecosystem services. It is like putting your bank in your pocket. It’s second to none because in it, you can open a new account even for third party, you see insurance, access management, wallet, stock broking, access to multiple choices and other banking services”

Adeniyi affirmed that the App went through a rigorous security check to ensure that customers’ data and privacy were secured. He stressed that, although about 99 per cent of Stanbic banking transactions are done digitally even with the development of the app,, there is no need for panic as there won’t be any job loss, instead personnel would be redeployed to other business areas like marketing, mobile and digital sections for better service delivery.
