Commonwealth and African youth champion, Samuel Ogazi will continue his studies and athletics career in the United States of America.

The 200m and 400m youth champion signed a US college scholarship with the University of Alabama.

Ogazi, who was approached by several top US colleges such as Baylor University and Louisiana State University, settled for Alabama because of their rich track history in training young talents to their best.

He is regarded as the next big name in Nigeria athletics and will be hoping Alabama can take his talent to the next level of his young track career.
