The Enugu State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning has congratulated Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as one defined by vision, innovation and purposeful leadership.
In a goodwill message jointly signed by the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Chris-Roberts Ozongwu, and the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Clara Nwakaego Eze, the management and staff said the governor’s three years in office have ushered in what they called “the most exciting chapters of Enugu’s renaissance.”
The ministry said the administration has recorded significant progress across key sectors, including infrastructure, economic development, education, healthcare, security and youth empowerment, noting that the reforms have begun to reshape governance and service delivery in the state.
According to the statement, the last 1,095 days have been marked by “relentless dedication, infrastructure that speaks and policies that empower the people,” adding that initial plans have now translated into visible developmental outcomes across Enugu State.
It stated that what began as a vision has gradually evolved into practical achievements being experienced by residents, as governance initiatives continue to take shape across urban and rural communities.
“If the last three years were the preface to His Excellency’s leadership story, then we are currently in the most exciting chapters of Enugu’s renaissance,” the statement read.
“It has been 1,095 days of relentless dedication, infrastructure that speaks, and policies that empower. What began as a vision has steadily transformed into visible progress — from infrastructure revolution to economic expansion, educational reforms, healthcare advancement, security enhancement, youth empowerment and the restoration of public confidence in governance.”
The ministry further commended the governor’s urban renewal and economic policies, saying they are redefining development and reshaping the physical and economic landscape of the state.

“From the architectural masterpieces reclaiming our urban landscapes to the strategic economic reforms fueling our rural prosperity, the blueprint for greatness is no longer just on paper; it is in the very pulse of our people,” the statement added.
It also noted that the administration has gone beyond holding office, insisting that it is actively “redefining possibilities, accelerating development and building a future driven by innovation, discipline and purposeful leadership.”
The ministry praised Governor Mbah’s leadership style, describing it as one driven by courage, resilience and administrative ingenuity, which has continued to inspire confidence among citizens.
It said his commitment to the service of the people has set a new benchmark for governance in the state, while also redefining expectations of public administration and development delivery.
“As we commemorate this third anniversary, the air in Enugu is thick with the scent of progress and the promise of more to come,” the statement said.
“We are not just building roads; we are building bridges to a global economy.
We are not just funding programmes; we are fueling dreams. The foundation is solid, the momentum is unstoppable, and the future of Enugu has never looked more golden.”
The ministry concluded by wishing the governor continued wisdom, strength and success as he advances his development agenda across the state.
