Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, is set to headline the fourth edition of the BlacPool Festival slated for May 1, 2022.
The BlacPool Festival, formerly known as the Eko Festival, will be the most enviable luxurious pool party on the continent of Africa, which will also serve as a platform to give award recognition to distinguished individuals who have done exceptionally well for themselves.
The founder of BlacPool Festival, Mr. Wilson Chibututu, noted that the event is designed to become an impact project, progressively tackling empowering Black Women all across Africa.
It is no doubt that empowering African women runs deep from the heart of the black culture. Mr. Chibututu added that 2Baba is the perfect entertainer to headline this year’s edition of the BlacPool Festival in Nigeria because of his service to humanity, and his humanitarian activities in the country.
“As a respected musician, 2Baba has no match in the entertainment industry. We are happy to have him as the headliner for the 2022 edition of the BlacPool Festival.”
“Being a philanthropist, 2Baba fits in perfectly because this year we’ll be celebrating and empowering African women,” Mr. Chibututu said.
BlacPool Festival will this year empower five African women with start-up businesses with one million Naira each. However, they will have to follow @blacpool on Instagram for details on how to qualify for the empowerment.
The festival will hold at the La Maison Fahrenheit, No. 80 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island in Lagos State, Nigeria.
