The Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, has emerged as the new national Director General of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-ICG).
The National Executive Committee of the group in a statement signed by its convener. Dr. Seyi Bamigbade said the strategic appointment comes at a pivotal moment as the group intensifies its nationwide grassroots structures to robustly promote, defend, and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
The group said Senator Eshinlokun, who had also previously served with distinction as the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, brings decades of invaluable political experience, strategic foresight, and extensive grassroots mobilization expertise to this high-profile national assignment.
‘’In his new role as National Director General, Senator Eshinlokun will oversee the coordination, planning, and execution of all independent campaign activities across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
‘’He is tasked with unifying support groups, driving structural cohesion, and expanding the support base of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through strategic public engagement and advocacy.’’
The leadership of the PBAT-ICG expressed complete confidence in Senator Eshinlokun’s capability to pilot the affairs of the campaign organization, saying his proven loyalty to progressive ideals, deep understanding of Nigeria’s political landscape, and record of impactful representation made him the ideal leader to drive the group’s objectives.
Eshinlokun in his acceptance remark expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership and stakeholders for the trust reposed in him.
