2027: South South fully behind Tinubu’s re-election bid, says Jimmy Omo-Agege

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State and south-south Coordinator of the Twenty million thumbs for Tinubu support group, Jimmy Omo-Agege has said the South south region is set to give President Bola Tinubu one hundred percent votes in the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking in Delta, he said the south-south region will ensure the success of President Bola Tinubu abd the APC during the polls.

“We have put all our machinery in place. We have spoken to our women and youth, who make up the larger share of the voting population, and they have given us their word that come 2027, they will vote for Mr. President. What we are doing here today is committing ourselves to work hard across every state in the South South to deliver this region to the President,”* Omo-Agege said.

Under the pro-Tinubu support group, Twenty Million Thumbs for Tinubu, he declared the South South geopolitical zone firmly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, promising to mobilise the region’s full voting strength in support of his re-election.

Also speaking at the stakeholders’ meeting organised by the group’s Convener, Prince Emmanuel Odigie, who brought together political leaders, community stakeholders, women, and youth representatives from across the six South South states to chart a clear path toward securing the region’s vote for the President.

Addressing attendees, Odigie stated that the meeting was called with one purpose — to align leaders across the South South and build a coordinated strategy that guarantees President Tinubu’s victory at the polls in 2027.

The meeting marks a significant step in the group’s grassroots mobilisation drive, signalling that the South South’s support for President Tinubu is no longer just a promise it is an organised movement with structure, leadership, and momentum.
