An Osun State-born diplomat, Ambassador Adebisi Olusoji, has been affirmed as the presidential candidate of the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA).
His affirmation was coordinated by the chairman of the electoral committee, Olalekan Fabayo, at the DLA party secretariat in Osogbo, in the presence of representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In his address, the state acting chairman, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, described Olusoji’s emergence as a pragmatic shift from the old guard to a new beginning.
“Nigerians have seen it all. Both the APC and the PDP have demonstrated their capacities and given us their best hands; now, it is time for a change.
“We need a pragmatic transition from old hands to a fresh start that will elevate Nigeria to greater heights within the comity of nations. That is exactly why we are here.
