The names and particulars of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, have been uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination portal.
The development was announced by the party’s national publicity secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in a statement posted on X on Tuesday night.
He penned, “We are pleased to announce that we have successfully uploaded the names and particulars of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar (GCON), and our vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi (CON), to the nomination portal of INEC.”

Speaking further, Abdullahi called the submission a milestone ahead of the ADC’s preparations for the 2027 elections.
According to him, the move reflects the ADC’s commitment to offering Nigerians “a credible alternative built on competence, unity, and national renewal”.
